A bit about the wee inn at the foot of the Ben

The Ben Nevis Inn is a well over 200 year old barn, which was converted back in 2001 into a restaurant and bunkhouse accommodation.

Walkers and visitors to the area know us as a welcome sight at the end of their adventure up the Ben, and we are proud that our locals know they can rely on us for a good meal in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

The Inn is owned and run by family man and beer enthusiast Tom Hadfield, who will often be found behind the bar.

Our kitchen is run by head chef, local man and football enthusiast Scott, who has a passion for creating wholesome food with loads of flavour. Scott is joined by his trusty kitchen team, Barry, Keiran, Rob, John and Pali in our little kitchen working hard to produce your food, usually whilst discussing football and drinking a coffee or 6!

Our front of house is headed up by Sarah and Jamie (“the man with the beard”), who have both worked in hospitality for many years and both grew up in Lochaber. Along with the rest of our fantastic waiting team, they can be found ready to give you a warm welcome, friendly service and a have a wee chat about your adventures.
